Craskie Eco Pods
Craskie Estate Ltd, Craskie, Glencannich, Cannich, Beauly, Inverness-shire, IV4 7LX
Our two wooden, eco pods are now ready to take visitors. They are situated side-by-side with stunning and uninterupted views over Loch Craskie. Excellent insulation and a low wattage, high output heater make them warm and dry all year round and of course they are both dog friendly.
Each spacious pod sleeps up to four people with a double and two single beds. These are topped with comfy 4 inch thick matresses and optional bed linen (just bring your own sleeping bags if you prefer). A built in wardrobe with space for shoes separates the two singles.
Suprisingly well equipped, they have full electrics, USB sockets for charging your phone and we have provided a set of speakers so you can play your favourite music. There is a kettle and generously sized Weber BBQ for cooking with crockery and cutlery supplied.
The estate has 155 acres to explore including our own Loch Craskie and stretch of the River Cannich. Permits for wild, Brown Trout and Pike fishing in these waters are available on request in season. Hill walkers and mountain climbers are spoilt for choice with 14 Munros and many smaller peaks in the area. Craskie Estate is close to the newly opened, long distance Affric-Kintail Way which links the Great Glen Way to the west coast.
