Upper Glassburn B&B....

Upper Glassburn is situated some 2 miles from the village of Cannich. It is an old house of some character where George and Ishbel Strachan offer comfortable accommodation in 2 double rooms, 1 twin room and 1 single room. You are also welcome to enjoy the full facilities of the house and the 3 acres of secluded garden and grounds.

As Ishbel is an enthusiastic painter, her purpose built studio in the garden is available for use by those of an artistic bent (especially handy on wet days!), and George is very easily persuaded to take guests out for the day in his comfortable 27ft sailing boat on Loch Ness (especially handy on fine days!). For anyone with no experience in either pursuit but who fancies giving it a try, friendly advice and tuition is available.

The house is in an idyllic rural situation overlooking the River Glass and surrounded by the mountains and glens of Affric, Cannich and Strathfarrar. George and Ishbel are funds of knowledge about the local area and the Highlands in general and are only too happy to discuss all the best places to go and things to see, whatever your particular interest - especially with a dram in the evening!
